Following a fire in a private residence in Lampton Avenue, (near Highlands Close) Hounslow in the early hours of this morning (7 September), Hounslow Council has set up a rest centre for local residents affected by the incident.

The Council’s main building, Hounslow House, is accommodating around 30 people while their homes are declared safe or until alternative accommodation can be found. Council liaison officers are working with firefighters and other emergency services at the scene. Further Council staff will be deployed throughout the day to support the wider relief and recovery effort.
