Support for Refugee Families

The term refugee is used to describe people who are forced to leave their home community in order to preserve their own safety. War, climate change, political turmoil, oppression, and natural disaster are a few of the many reasons that lead children, young people, and their families to become refugees.

Niace state that the UK does not provide a standard and mandatory induction programme for new arrivals; however, it is important that refugees acquire knowledge about living and working in the UK.
