When you look after someone, your health and wellbeing can be affected by your caring responsibilities. Carers can access concessionary membership of Lampton Leisure Centres in Hounslow allowing them to use the gym, swimming pool or group exercise classes at a reduced rate. You will need to provide evidence that you are a carer which could include proof you are in receipt of carer benefits, a Carer Emergency Card or a letter from your GP or social worker.

Carers accompanying a 'cared for' person at Lampton Leisure Centres may use the facilities free of charge. 

Healthy Hounslow can provide free advice and ongoing support if you want to eat well, move more, give up smoking or drink less.

Age UK Hounslow run a variety of classes and social activities.

The NHS provides information and advice on a wide range of health and wellbeing topics.

Carers Trust produce a wide range of resources.

Staying healthy and looking after your body, will keep you active for longer and can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes. Staying fit and active is also good for your mental and emotional well-being and can reduce stress and anxiety.
