PressReader, with access to newspapers from the UK and around the world, is now available on the Libby app in the new Extras section.
You can browse the digital library without being a member, but if you wish to download an item you will need to join your local library. How to join Hounslow libraries.
When you are a library member you can download e-books and e-audio by following these steps:
- Go to https://llc.overdrive.com/
- Click Sign in and select Hounslow then enter your library card number and pin
- Browse the collection to select an item
- Borrow button (if you are not signed in, you will be asked to do so)
- Confirm your loan
- The item is now ready to download, either to your PC or mobile device
For smartphones and tablets you can download the Libby app from the:
Search for ‘London Borough of Hounslow’ then choose Hounslow; the app will then ask for your library card number and pin.
You can borrow 5 items at a time. Each item is loaned for either 14 or 21 days.
