Publication Scheme

Publication scheme

We routinely publish, or link to, a collection of useful information about the council under what is known as the Freedom of Information Publication Scheme, as required by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The purpose of a Publication Scheme is to make the information the council holds more accessible to members of the public and to help the public understand what information the council holds.

We also routinely publish information under the Local Government Transparency Code 2014. This covers the council structure and employee information; council finance and property; parking; other parking and traffic data; and public health funerals. Where possible this data is provided in CSV format to encourage accessibility and re-use.

We also routinely publish open data about the council and the services we provide on our dedicated open data portal, data.hounslow.gov.uk.  This includes information about the council structure and employee information; council finance, contracts and property; and parking and traffic data.

Where possible this data is provided in CSV format to encourage accessibility and reuse.  If you would like us to publish additional open data, please email us on opendata@hounslow.gov.uk
