Air quality, pollution and aviation noise

In 2019, Hounslow Council declared a climate emergency and committed to achieving a net zero carbon borough by 2030. Alongside this, the Council published Air Quality Action Plan 2018 – 2023. The Council publishes an updated Air Quality Action Plan every 5 years, documenting Hounslow’s plans to reduce air pollution and clean up the borough’s air

The Council is now seeking feedback on its updated Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP 2023-2028), and wants to hear from residents and businesses on the actions that have been proposed to improve air quality in the borough over the next five years.

Shaping the future of the borough: Place making and development

We are inviting residents and businesses to get involved in shaping the future of the borough by sharing their views on our latest suite of documents that will work alongside the Local Plan

While we want to see the borough evolve and innovate, we must not lose sight of our existing communities and traditions. We want everybody to feel welcomed and to be empowered to have their say on issues which matter to them, to shape our decisions and feel invested in their communities.
