Activities for Children and Families
Story times are aimed at children under 5 and provide a fun introduction to books and reading.
Sharing stories with young children can help to build good language and listening skills, giving them a head start when they begin school.
Sessions run during term-time only, are free, and last 30 minutes. For most libraries you do not have to book but places are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. For Chiswick library, booking is required and can be done from the Friday before a session. Contact the library for more information

Rhymetime sessions are aimed at babies and toddlers, under 5, along with their parents or carers. The events are based on sharing nursery rhymes and songs to help build early language awareness.
