Who can get vaccinated?
In 2024/25, the following people are eligible for the Covid-19 and flu vaccine:
Covid-19
- residents in a care home for older adults
- all adults aged 65 years and over
- persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group (if you’re not sure if this applies to you or your child, please contact your GP to discuss)
- If you are pregnant, please speak to your midwife or health visitor to discuss your options for vaccination
Flu
- aged 2 and 3 years on 31 August 2024
- eligible school aged children (Reception to Year 11)
- those aged 6 months to under 65 years in clinical risk groups (if you’re not sure if this applies to you or your child, please contact your GP to discuss)
- pregnant women
- all those aged 65 years and over
- those in long-stay residential care homes
- carers, those in receipt of carer’s allowance or main carer of an older or disabled person
- household contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- frontline health and social care staff
