Setting up your own community group
There are many reasons why people living in one area may want to get together and form a community group;
- To arrange outings and social events
- To keep people in your area informed about local issues that affect them.
- To campaign for something locally
- To organise projects to improve your neighbourhood
We have created a very simple guide that will take you, step by step, through the process for setting up a group of your own.
Hounslow Play Streets
Play Streets are roads which are dedicated to play at certain times of the year. They allow you to close your residential road to allow local children to play safely outside without worrying about cars or buses passing through.
