Obtaining nomination papers 

Nomination papers may be downloaded from www.hounslow.gov.uk/elections, or can be obtained by emailing the Deputy Returning Officer at kully.tumber@hounslow.gov.uk. The Returning Officer will, at any elector’s request for any ward prepare a nomination paper for signature.  

Delivery of nomination papers 

Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow TW3 3EB between 10am and 4pm on any weekday from the date of this Notice (excluding bank holidays), but no later than 4pm on Friday 10 February 2023.

If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 9 March 2023.

Applications to register to vote 

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 21 February 2023.  Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

Postal and proxy voting 

New applications to vote by post or postal proxy, or to change or cancel existing postal, proxy or postal proxy arrangements must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 22 February 2023.

New applications to vote by proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023.

New applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 9 March 2023.   The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023.  To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023.
