Care for Hounslow

Hounslow Care Providers

2 carers

Hounslow Council owns and operates two care homes within the borough; Sandbanks Resource Centre in Feltham and Clifton Gardens in Chiswick. In addition, to meet the needs of our residents and communities, we commission services from a wide network of care providers who can deliver care on Hounslow Council's behalf. These providers offer a range of different services including domiciliary care (visiting people in their own homes to provide care), residential care facilities, extra care housing, supported accommodation and supported living.

In Hounslow, our commitment to creating good jobs for our residents means that if you begin working with any of the Council’s approved care providers, you should receive good terms of employment which in most cases includes the London Living Wage. If you think you might be interested in a career in this rewarding sector, you can read about the experiences of some of our care workers in the borough here. The care sector always lneeds new recruits into social care and there are lots of opportunities available. You can find out about the types of roles on offer and the employment support we can provide here.

Some of the benefits of working with Hounslow Council approved care providers include:

• London Living Wage – currently £10.75/hour minimum
• Full training provided
