The Communities Taskforce is leading on improving our knowledge, understanding and representation of our residents. It’s focusing on creating an evidence base of our communities; ascertaining the impact of coronavirus and lockdown across a range of factors and how the Council can support people; developing how the Council engages with residents and the voluntary and community sector.
It’s also leading on the development of the Council’s Community Hub.
Chaired by Cllr Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Communities and Climate Emergency, it held its first meeting on 11 June 2020.
Its membership includes:

- Cllr Lily Bath, Board Vice Chair, Deputy Leader of the Council, and Cabinet Member for Housing and Social Inclusion
- Mandy Skinner, Assistant Chief Executive
- Clive Palfreyman, Executive Member for Finance and Resources
- Martin Waddington, Director of Commissioning.
