Service description

The Community Access Service (CAS) provides a wide range of community-based activities and projects for residents with mild-to-moderate learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

CAS provides meaningful opportunities for residents to make friends, increase inclusion, stay healthy and make informed choices, learn new skills and reduce the risk of isolation. We work closely with residents to identify a wide range of activities and opportunities, via our advocacy group `Our Voice, Our Say’, which supports CAS to develop our monthly activity planner and newsletter.

Something new every month

We integrate residents into the local and London-wide community by enhancing residents independent living skills through a range of projects, as well as creating new experiences for individuals to explore.  We do this by developing a range of fun and interactive programme every month and deliver it with our external partners, which we run during the day, evening and at weekends.

Our monthly programme of activities (or CAS Planner) includes community based drop-in sessions, sports and fitness activities, cinema visits, meals out and visits to places of interest.
