What is ‘extra care’?

An ‘Extra Care’ home allows you to live independently in your own self-contained flat while having access to help with everyday tasks such as washing, dressing, personal care and taking medication.

About Bridgewater House

Close to the river Thames and in a conservation area, Bridgewater House in Isleworth, has 32 apartments for affordable rent and four apartments available to buy through shared ownership.

The self-contained apartments provide a safe, secure and supportive environment that offers comfortable living for people with care needs . They have level floors throughout and each has a stylish fitted kitchen with a range of appliances and a wet room bathroom with level access shower. Each apartment is fitted with telecare services and a pull-cord system.

Octavia Care and Support staff are on site 24-hours a day. The level of care provided for each resident is tailored to their own individual needs.

Lively activities

Bridgewater House also promotes resident socialising through lively and stimulating activities in its activity room and large communal lounge, with doors leading to a patio garden. There is close access to the large private grounds of Fitzroy Gate estate which lead down to the banks of the river Thames. The communities of Isleworth village and Richmond are a short distance away by car or bus. A guest room is available for visiting family.
