The free Carer's Emergency Card scheme provides reassurance for carers. It makes sure that a contingency plan is in place to outline planned, alternative care for the 'cared for' person in the event of an accident or emergency.
It sets out cover for at least 48 hours until longer-term arrangements can be made if needed.
You require a carers needs assessment to join the scheme. This can be started securely and confidentially online using Autonomy or over the telephone or email using the contact details below.
