Service description

Good Gym is a community of runners who get fit by doing good. They make friendly visits to isolated or lonely Hounslow residents (50+) helping them by carrying out small tasks or just chatting, as part of their runs.

  • They run in groups to do manual labour for community organisations (painting, gardening and odd jobs)
  • They run to make social visits to isolated older people
  • They run ‘missions’ for vulnerable people; clearing gardens where safety or access is an issue, one-off dog walks, changing light bulbs and doing odd jobs for people who struggle to do them alone.

They also get the help of a qualified trainer and support to achieve their running goals.
