We would like to hear from organisations and professionals who support unpaid carers in Hounslow.
Unpaid carers are people who provide help and support to a partner, family member or friend who cannot cope without their assistance. This could be due to their illness, disability, mental health difficulty or addiction. This could be helping with medication, housework, benefits or accompanying to appointments. It could also be personal care such as washing and dressing.
In October and November 2022, the Public Health Team in Hounslow held one-to-one and group listening sessions with unpaid carers. Now, we would like to hear from the people and organisations who work directly with people in the borough who have caring responsibilities.
The views shared in the survey will inform the Carers Strategy and will shape future support and services for carers in Hounslow.
