What is Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG)?
The United Nations defines violence against women and girls as ‘any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm’.
It includes: -

Sexual Violence and Abuse (including Rape)
Coercion and control
Stalking
Forced Marriage
Female Genital Mutilation
So called honour-based violence
Sexual Exploitation/trafficking of women and girls.
