If you think you might lose your home, it’s important that you contact us and get advice as soon as possible.

Email the housing team

It is our priority to help you prevent your homeless by:

  • negotiating with your landlord or the people you live with
  • provide you with housing advice – including advice on rent arrears and affordability issues and any grants or benefits that may be applicable to you
  • provide advice on housing relating support which are not general health, social care or statutory personal care services and help you live independently
  • explore alternative housing options such as adapting, swapping, downsizing your home to make it more affordable or depending on your age consider sheltered housing

We will prioritise in assisting you in resolving your housing need issues by advising and signposting you to options where you can find another home quickly and provide you with advice on other housing options that are available to you.

StreetLink

If you are concerned about someone you have seen sleeping rough in England or Wales, you can use the StreetLink website to send us an alert.

The details you provide are sent to us or outreach service for the area in which you have seen the person, to help them find the individual and connect them to support.
