Hounslow Children’s Information Service provides free up to date, accurate and impartial information and guidance on all registered childcare and early years provision in the London Borough of Hounslow.
We provide independent advice on a range of children’s services including:
Lists of registered childcare provision in your area including day nurseries, childminders, pre-school/playgroups and out of school care.
Financial help for parents including tax credits and nursery education grant
Choosing childcare
Activities and parent and toddler groups
Health services including GPs, dentists and baby clinics
Starting school information
Family support, including signposting to partner organisations
We receive childcare information directly from OfSTED, ensuring that information is accurate and up to date.

We operate a telephone helpline from 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday and voicemail is in operation outside these times. We offer a range of outreach sessions across the borough through local community points such as libraries, health clinics and shopping centres. Contact us for details of the next session.
