Cllr Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Communities, Hounslow Council, said:

“We have been alerted that three foxes were found dead on part of Bedfont Lane Open Space (known locally as Cage Park)  yesterday, and there has also been a report that a dog was taken ill and then died after eating something from a plastic bag left lying on the grass.

“Our Animal Warden Service is investigating and the matter has also been reported to the police. In the meantime, we would ask all dogwalkers to be alert and keep their dogs under control and within their observation at all times. If you see anything suspicious, please report it to the Animal Warden.
