Candidates announced for European Parliamentary Election in May

Hounslow Council has published its Statement of Persons Nominated, giving the names of all candidates who will be standing as a Member for the London Region in the European Parliamentary Election.

Hounslow Council has published its Statement of Persons Nominated, giving the names of all candidates who will be standing as a Member for the London Region in the European Parliamentary Election on 23 May 2019.

There are 21 candidates running to become one of the region’s 8 Members for Parliament, and the list of who is running can be found here

The elections take place on 23 May 2019, and residents who have not yet registered to vote have until midnight on 7 May 2019 to do so by visiting the Your Vote Matters website.

Can’t get to the polling station?

Anyone who is registered to vote can apply to have their ballot paper sent to them in the post. To apply, visit the Your Vote Matters website, download the relevant form and return a scanned copy of the form to elections@hounslow.gov.uk.

The deadline to return the postal vote form or written notifications of changes to existing postal or proxy arrangements is 5pm on 8 May 2019.

If you wish to apply for a new proxy vote application (someone to vote on your behalf)  please download a form from the Your Vote Matters website and return a scanned copy of the form to elections@hounslow.gov.uk. The deadline to return the proxy vote form is 5pm on 15 May 2019.

Alternatively, post it to Electoral Services, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EB.
