Cllr Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Communities and Workforce, Hounslow Council said:  “I was extremely concerned and saddened to hear of the fatal stabbing of a teenager in Isleworth last night, Friday 22 March.

I understand that the police were called just after 10.30pm last night as a fight had taken place just off Union Lane and a 17-year-old male seriously injured.

Officers administered first aid to the victim before the arrival of the London Ambulance Service, but despite their best efforts to save the victim, he was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

A murder investigation is now underway, led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command supported by colleagues from the West Area Command Unit.

There has been no arrest at this early stage.

Any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist police is urged to call 101 quoting CAD 8396/mar22. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
