Hounslow voters who requested a postal vote should look out for their postal vote pack, as these are being sent out this week (Friday 20 to Wednesday 25 April).

If you requested a postal vote but have not received it by Friday 27 April please contact the Elections team by emailing elections@hounslow.gov.uk

The deadline to return your completed postal vote is 10pm on Thursday 3 May.

Proxy vote

In certain circumstances, you can appoint someone else to vote for you. This is called a proxy vote. Apply for a proxy vote on the Your Vote Matters website by downloading the relevant form and returning the scanned form to the elections team or posting it to Electoral Services Civic Centre Lampton Road Hounslow TW3 4DN.

The deadline for applying for a proxy vote is 5pm, on Wednesday 25 April.

Emergency proxy

If you are taken ill or get unexpected work commitments after the deadline for applying for a proxy vote, which prevents you from attending the polling station on polling day, you can appoint a proxy to vote for you. You will need a doctor or employer to support your application.

You can apply for an emergency proxy to vote after 5pm, Wednesday 25 April on the About My Vote website by downloading the relevant form and returning the scanned form to the Elections team or posting it to Electoral Services Civic Centre Lampton Road Hounslow TW3 4DN.
