Last call for prospective candidates interested in making a difference

If you’re interested in local issues and are thinking of standing as a councillor, you only have a few days left to submit your nomination.

Prospective candidates have until 4pm on Friday 6 April to submit their nomination to the Returning Officer, Electoral Services Office, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN.

A nomination pack has been produced to help candidates complete their nomination papers, with a dedicated section of the council’s website providing additional information about the nomination process, standing as a councillor, and the Election timetable, which sets out key dates between now and 3 May.

Nomination papers must be hand delivered between 26 March and 6 April (no later than 4pm) to Interview Room 8, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to book an appointment to have their nomination pack informally checked before it is formally submitted.
