Councillor Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council said:

“Until yesterday (Wednesday 31 January) online information about parks and open spaces in Hounslow was the responsibility of Carillion.

I’m pleased to announce that this content has been refreshed and transferred to sit within Hounslow Council’s main website and is now live. This is one stage of the process and demonstrates how we are doing everything we can to bring the transfer of the service in-house as quickly as possible.

As a result of Carillion’s involuntary liquidation, the council agreed to bring forward the transfer of the Parks contract to its wholly-owned trading company, Lampton 360, to 1 March 2018 from 9 April 2018. Therefore Carillion is still contracted to manage the borough’s parks and open spaces and all lines of communication will need to remain through Carillion using their email addresses and phone numbers until the full transfer of services planned for Thursday 1 March.

You can find out about Hounslow’s parks and open spaces, including allotments and cemeteries in the borough, by visiting the Parks and open spaces webpages and we will continue to add to the information on our site.”
