Burst water main affecting W3, W4, W6 and W12 postcodes

Some properties in the Chiswick area are currently experiencing low water pressure or no water supply due to a burst water main in the Hammersmith area

We have been informed by Thames Water that following a burst water main in, Hammersmith earlier this morning (Goldhawk Road), some properties in the Chiswick area are currently experiencing low water pressure or no water supply.

The areas affected include the W3, W4, W6 and W12 postcodes.

Although the burst pipe has been repaired, King Street remains closed to traffic whilst work on the reinstatement is underway, causing local traffic disruption. The road will be open again as soon as possible.

Schools affected

Belmont Primary School is currently closed today as a result of a burst water main. We anticipate the school to open as normal tomorrow. For more details, visit the school's website

Chiswick library is temporary closed today

Chiswick library has also been temporarily closed today, due to the incident. The situation is being closely monitored and we hope to re-open the library as soon as possible.  In the meantime Beavers, Feltham, Heston and Hounslow libraries are all open today as usual, or you can re-new books online.
