Kicking off the fun is the Winter Parade in Feltham on Thursday [16 November] from 5pm, with singing, dancing and acrobatics also in the mix.

This is followed by more festive cheer in Hounslow town centre on Saturday 18 November, from 6.30pm.

A lantern procession will take place from near the Blenheim Centre to the Holy Trinity Church for the Christmas lights switch on, finishing up with a dance performance in Bell Square. Visit the Bell Square website.

Chiswick is next when it hosts the big Christmas Lights switch on, Thursday 30 November, from 6pm, outside the George IV pub, Chiswick High Road.

Isleworth is the venue for the next Christmas event, on Saturday 2 December, from 3pm-7pm, when the popular Inspiring Isleworth Christmas Market comes to town, along with Santa’s Grotto, a fun fair and much more.

The Council and Hounslow Highways, who manage the borough’s street services on behalf of the Council, are supporting the events.

The Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Sue Sampson, who is attending all the events below, said: “Christmas is only six weeks away.

“It will be nice to see the borough starting to look festive with colourful lights, and bustling with people shopping for their gifts for family and friends.

“I hope to see many residents at the events as we look to get ready for all the fun of the festive period.”
