Hounslow Council is currently seeking residentsviews on its draft Transport Strategy and there is still time to have your say.

The consultation, entitled Moving Forward, was launched in July and seeks the views of local people on a range of transport-related issues including health, sustainability, road safety and accessibility.

Council transport planners want to know more about how people currently travel around the borough for work, shopping and leisure and how they would like to travel in the future.

The consultation also asks residents what they think Hounslow Councils priorities for transport and travel should be.

The team has put together a quick online survey that asks about how people travel, what they would like to see more of and what residents think the Councils priorities for the future should be.

Residents have until Sunday, 29 September and can complete the survey here

To help residents who would like more information the transport team is taking its show on the road and will be visiting the boroughs Area Forums and hosting a series of drop-in sessions over the days ahead. These sessions will be a chance to find out more about this consultation and the second phase of consultation which begins later this year, when there will be another opportunity for you to have your say.

To do this we need the views of people in our borough about what direction they think the Council should take with the plans.

At our drop-in sessions, you can find out more about the scheme, talk to the team about your prioritie and complete the survey while you are there.

Otherwise, please take a few minutes to complete the survey online. Your opinions are important in helping the Council make the right choices.”
