Leader of Hounslow Council, Cllr Shantanu Rajawat has congratulated the borough's King's Birthday Honours recipients.

The Leader of Hounslow Council, Cllr Shantanu Rajawat, has spoken of his ‘immense pride’ that two members of the Hounslow community have been mentioned in the King’s Birthday Honours list 2024.
The Reverend Claire Clarke, the Vicar of Hope Church in Hounslow and Selwyn Boothe, Pastoral Mentor at Gunnersbury Catholic School, have been named Medallists of the Order of the British Empire (BEM) in the birthday list.
Mr Boothe receives the award for Services to Education, whilst Rev Clarke has been recognised for her Services to the Community.

It is with immense pride that I congratulate these two outstanding members of our Hounslow community for being recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours.
This recognition is a testament to their dedication and contribution to our borough.
For the Rev Clarke, this honour is a well-deserved recognition of her commitment to supporting and uplifting the residents of Hounslow. She is a pillar of strength and compassion within our community.
It is clear that Selwyn Boothe has been a beacon of support and inspiration at Gunnersbury School. His work has undoubtedly had a profound impact on the lives of the students.
