On Thursday 5 May, you will have your chance to elect the councillors that will represent you for the next four years.

Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm. Remember to bring your poll card, as this will enable you to vote more quickly. If you are registered to vote, but do not have your poll card, you can still attend your polling station and staff will be able to assist you. 

Postal voters 

If you have a postal vote, please return it as quickly as possible.  The deadline for the elections office to receive your completed postal pack is 10pm on Thursday 5 May. You can also return your postal vote to main reception at Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EB, or at any polling station in your ward. 

If you have lost your postal ballot paper, please contact the council’s Electoral Services Team on elections@hounslow.gov.uk  to request a replacement. 

Finding your polling station 

Please be aware that some polling stations have changed, and you may not be voting at the same one as you have previously. 

Your polling station is listed on your poll card, or you can enter your postcode on our website here: www.hounslow.gov.uk/polling-station-finder  

The deadline for registering to vote, including applying to vote by post and proxy, has now passed.

Emergency proxy vote

If you are taken ill or have unexpected work commitments which prevents you from attending the polling station on polling day, you can appoint a proxy to vote for you. You will need a doctor or employer to support your application. 

You can apply for an emergency proxy by visiting www.hounslow.gov.uk/voting-by-proxy and downloading the relevant form and returning the scanned form to elections@hounslow.gov.uk or posting it to Electoral Services, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road Hounslow TW3 3EB. Completed application forms must be received by 5pm on Thursday 5 May 2022.
