There are now just days left to apply to stay in the UK if you are an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen.

All citizens and their families living in the borough should check to see if they need to apply to the UK Government’s EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) to protect their rights and to continue living in the UK.
Even if you have a permanent residence document in the UK, you will still need to apply to the EUSS to stay in the UK after June 2021.
The application deadline for those who were living in the UK by the end of the transition period at 23:00 GMT on 31 December 2020, is 30 June 2021.
Cllr Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Communities and Climate Emergency, said: “I would urge those of you who are eligible to apply as soon as possible. You are an integral part of our borough and we don’t want you to miss the deadline to ensure you can continue to work, study, access healthcare and benefits in the UK.
“We are working in partnership with Citizens Advice Hounslow to provide a free service to support people with their applications, with particular emphasis on helping vulnerable people.”
Applications to the EUSS are free and can be made online at www.gov.uk/eusettlementscheme, where you will also find details of what information you will need to apply.
