Discounted tickets to see action at the IPC World Para Athletics Championships 14-23 July, are available to Hounslow residents.

 

One of the biggest sporting events of the year, athletes will be battling it out for the title of World Champion at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, east London.

 

Organisers have teamed up to offer Hounslow residents tickets for just £9 per adult and £3 per child (16yrs and under). With top category A tickets for the most popular sessions usually priced at £45, it means residents get a huge saving of £36.

 

Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Green Policy and Leisure, Hounslow Council, said: “We’re encouraging residents to take up this offer as it is a great opportunity to see a range of fantastic sports live.

 

“We are committed to providing as much as we can to ensure our residents can enjoy sport and active lifestyles. We hope that by watching these sportsmen and women in action live,  it will encourage people to take up more sport - perhaps a new sport that they hadn’t thought of beforeand as a result enjoy more activity and be part of a healthier community.”
