Fun for all the family will be had at Brentford Library this Saturday, 22 April.

The Library, in Boston Manor Road, Brentford, which has just seen the newly-refurbished Children’s area re-opened last week, will play host to residents of all ages who can enjoy a range of activities.
Traditional games, story-telling and rhyme-time sessions for children as well as arts and crafts will be available from 1.30pm. Bring a bear and a blanket for a teddy bear’s picnic!
An afternoon tea will also be held at the event 3.00pm which is being supported by Hounslow Council and organised by Carillion, which manages the borough’s libraries on behalf of the Council.
There will be also be a chance for residents and visitors to celebrate Brentford’s history, with a photographic display from the Archive of Brentford Past. There will be a memory book opened for residents and library users to share their own history of Brentford.
Councillor Corinna Smart, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Leisure, Hounslow Council, said: “This will be a great event for all the family, who can enjoy an afternoon of fun and games.
“It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the re-opening of the library and exploring and reminiscing about the wonderful history of Brentford.”
