Improvements and changes to housing services at Hounslow Council will be on the agenda for the Private Landlords Seminar, taking place on Thursday 15 September.
The event will be held at the Lampton Park Conference Centre, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN, from 9am-2pm.
All private landlords who attend, will have the opportunity to discuss issues with Councillor Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Housing.
With changes to the service taking place, landlords can also find out directly what is taking place by speaking to the council’s housing team and can put forward suggestions they have on how the service should be taken forward.
The council is keen to strengthen partnerships with landlords and provide a platform where issues can be addressed and ideas are shared, with support given to landlords from the council when needed.
At the seminar, there will also be discussions on how the council can work with landlords to improve services for tenants and as a result, meet housing needs in the borough, plus take feedback from landlords on their experience of letting accommodation.
Councillor Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Housing, Hounslow Council, said: “The seminar is a great opportunity to find out about all the work our team have been doing to improve the service.
“We want feedback on what matters from those directly involved, which means the input from landlords is vitally important to us. I urge those who have not yet signed up for this event to do so. We’re looking forward to meeting everyone and answering your questions.”
To attend the seminar, all bookings must be registered by 5pm on Tuesday 13 September.
