The motion was voted on at Hounslow’s virtual Borough Council meeting last night and was seconded by Cllr Joanna Biddolph. It was defeated by 43 votes against the motion and 9 votes for.

Speaking after the meeting, Cllr Curran said: “It’s been a difficult week during what is an extremely challenging time for everyone, but to receive the backing of the majority of Borough Council means I can carry on with what really matters: leading this borough through the pandemic and putting the initiatives outlined in our recovery plan into action.”
