Cllr Hanif Khan, Cabinet Member for Transport and One Hounslow said:

“There is a burst water main at Bedfont Green this morning. Staines Road and Hatton Road in Feltham are closed as a result and Fairholme Primary School, Bedfont Primary School and Rivers Academy have also had to shut today.

“Affinity Water’s emergency repairs team are on site at the moment and are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue and are liaising closely with the Council. Water has been diverted from other areas to help resume the water supply as soon as possible and Affinity Water has arranged the provision of bottle water to affected residents.

“There is a lot of disruption and delays in the area so please find an alternative route this morning.

“We will be posting updates on our website and social media throughout the day so please keep an eye on these channels for updates.”
