Cllr Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Communities and Climate Emergency at Hounslow Council said:

“We are deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of the deaths of three people in Brentford. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims, and the residents of Clayponds Lane.

“A police investigation is underway. Local residents can expect to see officers at the scene and patrolling the local area to provide reassurance. If you have any concerns, you should feel free to approach these officers.

“Anyone who has information which could assist police with their investigation are asked to call 101 ref CAD 7365/6 Oct.

“The safety and wellbeing of our residents is our primary concern and Hounslow Council is on standby to help in any way we can. Residents who would like to talk to someone should visit our website where you will find information about mental health services and phone numbers you can call, as well as advice and support around domestic violence.

“Anyone who has concerns about someone experiencing abuse should contact 101 in a non-emergency and 999 in an emergency.”
