Work continues to open our Leisure Centres

Hounslow Council has issued an update on the new management of public halls and leisure centres, and the reopening of services, which was announced earlier this month.

Cllr Samia Chaudhary

Work is continuing at pace to ensure the smooth transition of these services which will see the management of public halls and leisure centres return to the council and our wholly owned company, the Lampton Group.

Engagement has started with staff, and other key stakeholders including the swim clubs, all of whom we are looking forward to welcoming back to our facilities.

Cllr Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Leisure Services at Hounslow Council, said:

“As I am sure you will appreciate, bringing these important services back under the control of the Council and our trading company the Lampton Group is a huge undertaking. But let me reassure you that work continues at pace and I am looking forward to welcoming the community and the members of our leisure centres back to our facilities. I will continue to provide regular updates as this work progresses”
