Hounslow residents are being invited to subscribe to the council’s garden waste collection service starting in October.

More than 15,600 residents have signed up for garden waste collections since the new service was introduced in April.

Fortnightly collections of garden waste until the end of March 2017 cost just £30. If you receive Council Tax support you will receive a 50 per cent discount on the usual rate and pay £15.

When subscribing to the service, you can request a 240litre wheelie bin or two 90 litre sacks if these are easier for you to use and store.

Councillor Amrit Mann, Deputy Leader of Hounslow Council, said: “The garden waste subscription service has proved popular with residents, with thousands signing up.

“This service is a great way to spruce up your garden in time for next Spring.”
