Cllr Hina Kiani resigns from Hounslow Council

Hina Kiani, one of the councillors for Hounslow Heath Ward, has resigned from the Council with immediate effect.

Hounslow Council has today received official notification from Hina Kiani, one of the councillors for Hounslow Heath Ward, that she has resigned from the Council with immediate effect because of work commitments.

Hina Kiana has been Ward Councillor in Hounslow Heath since May 2018. 

A by-election will be held in due course. 

Cllr Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council said: "I was very sorry to learn of Cllr Hina Kiani’s resignation today and I’m sorry that she has decided to resign because of her work commitments, but this is understandable at this present time. I would like to thank Cllr Kiani for her service to the Borough and to the residents of Hounslow Heath ward. I would like to wish her all the best for the future."
