Residents, businesses & visitors will soon be able to enjoy a vibrant new outdoor food destination in Feltham after the Council secured funding through the Mayor of London’s Summer Streets programme.
The funding will support the launch of Feltham Green Street Eats, bringing independent food traders, outdoor seating and family-friendly activities to Feltham Green and creating a welcoming new destination for people to meet, eat and spend time together.
Located next to Feltham High Street and the new family play area opening later in the year, the initiative will help bring more activity into the town centre, support local businesses and encourage residents and visitors to spend more time enjoying everything Feltham has to offer.
The funding builds on the success of Hounslow’s community-led regeneration work in Feltham. Last month, the Council received the Best Social and Community Contribution Award at the 2026 Town and City Management Industry Awards for improvements to Feltham Green, delivered in partnership with the Friends of Feltham Green and local organisations, including the creation of the Feltham Eco Cabin and Freddie Mercury Memorial Garden. The project forms part of the wider Future Feltham programme, which is helping create a more vibrant, welcoming and sustainable town centre.

This investment will help bring more activity into the town centre, creating a welcoming space for people to come together and enjoy everything Feltham has to offer.”
In Hounslow, the investment forms part of Opportunity Hounslow, the Council’s wider programme of regeneration and growth across the borough. Alongside Future Feltham, the Council is investing in town centres and neighbourhoods to improve local places, support businesses and community organisations and ensure every area benefits from visible improvements. This includes projects to improve public spaces, strengthen local high streets and create neighbourhoods that residents can be proud of.

Feltham Green Street Eats is expected to launch in August, with seasonal events taking place throughout the pilot period. Feedback from residents, visitors and traders will help shape future plans for the space and explore opportunities for its longer-term use.
