You can order a marriage or civil partnership certificate from us if the marriage or civil partnership was in Hounslow.
If you've just married:
If your marriage or civil partnership took place at Feltham Lodge or an approved venue in the borough, you can apply for a certificate seven days after your ceremony.
We are only able to issue certificates once the details have been entered into the electronic register, which is why there is a short waiting period.
For marriages that take place in a religious building within the borough, the marriage schedule must first be returned to us. The person responsible for the ceremony has up to 21 days to do this, after which we can register the marriage and issue certificates. Once the registration is complete, you can order your certificate.
If the marriage or civil partnership was outside Hounslow:
You can order a certificate through the General Register Office (GRO) or the local register office where the marriage or civil partnership was registered.
You should also order a certificate through the GRO if you only have a volume and page number, quarter and district. These are the unique index references for the GRO.
