The Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 placed a duty on Local Authorities and the corresponding local NHS Trusts to set out the health needs of their local population, known as a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA).

The Hounslow Data Hub provides data, intelligence and insight to allow us to better understand the borough.
It supports commissioning and health planning to:
- Reduce health inequalities in the borough
- Assess current and future health care and wellbeing needs of the local population
- Improve service access and delivery
The Hounslow Data Hub brings together the factors that impact on the health and well-being of our communities. These include wider, core determinants of health, employment, education, housing, the environment, relationships, equalities, diversity & inclusion and health & care services.
We produce three, complementary products:
- Hounslow Snapshot – wide range of high-level overviews
- Hounslow Insight – an assessment of a specific topic
- Deep Dive Report – more detailed analyses of a topic.
