Immigration inspection – British High Commission Inspection
We provide an independent assessment of the accommodation to meet the requirements of the UK Border Agency. The report we provide, certify that a personal inspection has been carried out by an authorised officer, giving details of accommodation inspected. To satisfy the minimum requirements the accommodation must be free of Hazards as per Housing Act 2004 and will not become overcrowded within the definition of the Housing Act 1985.
How do I arrange an inspection?
Providing you are the home owner or you are renting a property privately on a long term basis (contract signed for minimum of six month with an Estate Agent) you may request the inspection. The application form must be completed and relevant documents submitted along with the fee before an inspection will be made.
The fee is not refundable if the property is not satisfactory. Any re-inspection fee is charged at the full rate.
The fee for 2020-2021 is £250 and the payment can be made:
