The Council is the licensing authority in Hounslow for the purposes of licensing activity under the Gambling Act 2005 (the Act). Every three years we must publish a licensing policy setting out the principles we will apply when exercising our licensing functions under the Act. This policy is called the Statement of Gambling Principles.
On 13 March 2019, the Council approved the current Statement of Gambling Principles 2019-2022 for publication and we published the Statement on 3 April 2019 by placing notices and making the Statement available for inspection on our website and at the Hounslow Library.
The statement took effect on 1 May 2019 and will expire on 30 April 2022.
