The Mayor of London has approved an application to change the charging band for Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued within the London Borough of Hounslow from Band B to Band A. This will take effect from Wednesday 1 June 2022.
From this date PCNs for contravening higher level parking restrictions will result in a penalty charge of £130, discounted to £65 if paid within 14 days. PCNs for contravening lower level parking restrictions will result in a penalty charge of £80, discounted to £40 if paid within 14 days
The increased charge is designed to encourage compliance with parking restrictions by acting as a more effective deterrent.
