NHS compared to private care
NHS dentist you'll usually pay less (if not exempt). They will be able to do work to keep your teeth healthy, but not be able to do any cosmetic work.
Private dentist higher costs, but you'll be able to get a greater range of treatments.
You need to pay for your dental care, unless you're under 18 or receiving certain benefits.

Contact NHS on 111 for advice outside normal practice hours.
