Council grants, funding and commissioning

Hounslow Wellbeing Network

The Hounslow Wellbeing Network is a social network that connects people, organisations and services to help reduce the stigma around mental illness.
Their aim is to combat social isolation, loneliness, depression and anxiety and improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
HWN is a social network, co-produced and co-designed by Hounslow residents and is made up of local people, friends, families, carers and professionals living and working in the borough.

London Borough of Hounslow, in partnership with West London Trust (WLT), is now inviting bids from voluntary sector organisations for the management and development of Hounslow Wellbeing Network (HWN).

Funding of £171,700 is available each year for this purpose and we are looking to award a grant for an initial period of three years.

The successful bidder will be expected to deliver the following:

  • Build relationships with existing service users and work with them on the development of HWN.
  • Maintain and expand the existing HWN offer to include a range of venues across the borough and a range of activities to appeal to different age groups, backgrounds and interests
