Hounslow Council elections 2022

The Hounslow Council elections will take place on Thursday 5 May 2022.  Voters in the borough will choose who they want to represent them as their ward councillors.

Changes to wards and number of councillors

In 2019, the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) carried out a statutory review of the council's electoral arrangements.  Following the implementation of their recommendations for changes to our electoral arrangements, the following changes will come into force from May 2022:

  • The number of wards in the borough will increase from 20 to 22.  The changes to the wards may mean that your address will be in a different ward from the one it is in currently and the name of your ward may have changed.
  • The total number of councillors will increase from 60 to 62.
